Member software

Some of our PhilaPUG members have tried their hand at writing PDA software and resources. We think that's a great idea and wanted to highlight these applications here. (listed in alphabetical order.)

• Cash Drawer [Freeware]: a simple program that helps you close out a retail cash drawer. You enter the totals for each denomination of coin or bill, and Cash Drawer sums it up for you and even helps you cut it back to the original amount.
   
• Datebook Injector [Freeware]: This useful app lets you create a list of datebook events that you can beam or e-mail to others. When they install the files on their Palm PDA, they can then select which events should be added to their calendar (kind of like a "vCal" that's totally on the PDA without the need for a desktop PIM).
   
• Home Grown Icons for DateBk5 [Freeware]: A collection of HiRes icons organized into 22 categories.
   
• STOIC (STay On In Cradle) [Freeware]: Great in cases where your Palm PDA just will not stay on when charging in it's cradle.
